Version: 2026-10-20. These terms describe purchases and use of Kut the Fat, operated by Kinda Legal LLC.
We organize billing evidence, calculate differences using your inputs, prepare editable letters and help you record your resolution process. We do not independently authenticate documents, determine legal entitlement, negotiate with vendors or act as your representative. No savings, refund, response or result is guaranteed. This is not legal, tax or financial advice.
You must be at least 18 and authorized to use the information you submit. Keep access to your sign-in email secure. Submit accurate information, respect others’ privacy and remove full payment-card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, medical details and unrelated sensitive data before uploading. Do not use the service to fabricate evidence, harass others or interfere with the service.
OCR can misread scanned pages; excerpts can omit context. Check every extracted amount, unit, date, source reference and letter before relying on it. A cited difference is a question to investigate, not proof of an unlawful charge. You are responsible for verifying the vendor’s official contact details and meeting applicable deadlines. Optional direct letter delivery requires your review and explicit approval of the recipient, subject and saved letter. It does not authorize unattended negotiation or additional vendor messages. Downloading a calendar file creates a reminder only after you import it into your calendar. Recorded case stages and recoveries are customer-reported.
A single review costs US$2.99 once. Home costs US$4.99 per month for five new reviews, Business US$8.99 per month for 20, and Business Plus US$19.99 per month for 100. Applicable tax and the final currency/total appear in checkout. Monthly plans automatically renew and charge the agreed monthly price until canceled. There is no paid free-trial conversion and no automatic overage charge. Each new review consumes one allowance; retries of the same successful request do not consume another. Monthly allowances reset each paid billing month and do not roll over. A purchased single-review credit currently has no scheduled expiry. Deleting a used review does not restore the allowance.
These prices apply to new purchases. An existing subscription continues at the price you previously agreed to unless a change is separately disclosed and accepted as required. Your account and receipt show your actual subscription price.
Sign in and select Manage billing to cancel online before your next renewal. Cancellation stops future renewal charges; access continues through the paid period shown in your account. Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your cases or refund an earlier charge. For a Managed Payments purchase, you can also use the order or subscription link in your Link receipt or visit Link. Stripe/Link’s checkout identifies the merchant of record and applicable payment terms.
If a charge is duplicated, unauthorized, or the purchased service fails, use the support option on your payment receipt or contact us. Provide the receipt reference and a short explanation; never send card details. Refunds are assessed under the applicable payment terms and consumer law. These terms do not exclude any mandatory cancellation, refund or other consumer right.
You retain rights in your documents and letters. You permit us and our service providers to process them only as needed to provide, protect and support the service, as explained in our Privacy notice. You may export and delete cases. We may restrict unlawful or abusive activity and make reasonable service changes; we will not describe an unprovided paid service as fulfilled merely because checkout succeeded.
We aim to provide the service with reasonable care but cannot promise uninterrupted availability or error-free extraction. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you submit, unverified documents or a vendor’s independent decisions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or requires arbitration or waives access to courts or statutory consumer remedies.
